Audrey Cottle
Hi! I’m Audrey Cottle and I thank you for stopping by! After spending over 20 years in the mental health and human services field, I found myself in need of a change and a way to reconnect with joy. Crafting had always been my creative outlet, and what began as a personal hobby gradually grew into a passion-driven business that blends creativity, sustainability, and wellness.
In 2017, I began making leather jewelry as I was drawn to the natural beauty and durability of the material. Around the same time, I developed a strong interest in health, wellness, and protecting our environment. As I learned more about essential oils, I was thrilled to discover that some of my leather pieces worked beautifully as natural diffusers. That inspiration led to the launch of my business, ABC Adornments Baubles and Crafts, in October 2018.
From the beginning, diffuser earrings and bracelets were my most-loved creations. I continue to work with leather because it’s a naturally sustainable material, far more lasting and eco-friendly than synthetic alternatives like vinyl. Over time, my passion for reducing waste expanded into creating reusable fabric goods like facial tissues, paper towel alternatives, and washable mop pads. Simple swaps that support a more mindful, earth-friendly lifestyle.
When I’m not in the workshop or behind a sewing machine, you’ll likely find me in the garden or curled up with a good book and my cat, Cypress. Thanks for joining me on this journey. I’m so glad you’re here!
